  1. Elite Havens is a trading name of Private Homes and Villas PTE LTD (collectively referred to as “Elite Havens”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy policy).

This privacy policy sets out the basis which Elite Havens may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) in Singapore. This Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.
  3. We process personal data based on your consent according to the applicable clauses of the PDPA, which you are free to give or refuse. You are free to revoke your consent for us to hold this information at any time. If you change your decision, it will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

  5. We collect information you share with us when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, or fill out a form. You may be asked to provide: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, country of residence, passport issuing country or credit card information.

We retain your personal data for only as long as is necessary for our business and limit the use of your personal data to that use which is essential to perform reasonably expected services or as required by law. Unless specifically requested, we ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, on or through the Services or otherwise to us, any Sensitive Personal Data (e.g., race, religious, ethnicity, medical or health information, sexual orientation etc.).

Sensitive credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, sensitive credit information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

  19. To cooperate with regulatory bodies and government authorities.

  21. To a third party in the event of any reorganisation, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business or assets (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
  23. What are your legal rights?

    You have the right to:

  24. Request access to your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it
  25. Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
  26. Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms

    • if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy;
